FAQ: FURNISHED APARTMENTS FOR RENT IN MONTREAL

What is the difference between furnished apartments and Hotels

EnVille offers much more space than a hotel. Their apartments all include a kitchen facility and are decorated to give you a more home like feeling. Maid service is offered at no extra cost every other week and you can request additional ones at an additional cost upon request.

How accurate is the information on the website

All information presented in EnVille.net is updated on a continuous basis and we are adding more descriptions and photos to help you have a better feeling on the Montreal short term or long term apartments we offer. We make every attempt to keep information as up-to- date and accurate as possible. However, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies in our pages. Exact guaranteed prices are always given in writing before you fill out an application.  

When should I start looking for an apartment

You should start placing your request at least 30 days prior to the date you are looking to move in, especially during the high season (May through end of October). That will ensure that you get the best options and prices at any time. During the high season most of the apartments we offer are rented in advance and we have very limited inventory.

Is a security deposit required

Yes, there is a refundable 1 month security deposit requirement for all our furnished rentals. If the apartment is found in the same condition that it was delivered to you, the only thing that will be deducted from the security deposit will be a clean out fee.

When my flight is early, can I have early occupation of the apartment

Move in time is 4 pm. However, you can check with your agent to see if the previous client is leaving the apartment the day before or earlier. In that case, we will be more than happy to let you move to the short term apartment early.

What happens when I have a late flight and would like to stay longer in the apartment

Move out time is at 10 am. However, if the furnished apartment has not been rented the same day, the landlord will allow you to stay in the apartment longer. Just check with your agent closer to your move out date.

Can I extend my lease

Yes, you can renew your lease provided you give EnVille 30 days written notice.

What is the cancellation policy

Once you paid and signed a lease agreement, you cannot cancel your contract unless the furnished apartment is re rented for the whole rental period. If you need to get out of a lease agreement, EnVille will help you find another client for your Montreal short term or long term apartment so that we can release you from the lease agreement.

How about linens and towels

All furnished apartments provide 2 sets of linens per bed and six or 8 sets of towels depending on the apartment size. Once you use them there will be no clean replacement but it is part of housekeeping team duties to wash them upon their visit, to your apartment. 

What about washer and dryer

All of EnVille's apartments have washer and dryer ensuite.

How do I collect keys for the apartment

Most of our short term or long term apartment rentals in Montreal have a front desk reception / 24hr doorman facility. In this case, your keys will be left with the doorman under your name. Others are in non doorman buildings where you will have to meet our agent or come to our office to get the keys. For those apartments, your agent will make the necessary arrangements to make things easy for you when you arrive to Montreal
